25mm wheel spaceer for 19' stock wheels

I am think about putting 25mm wheel spacers on my back hubs to move the stock rear wheels out a little. Has anyone done this? Had problems with the tires rubbing?

I have a set of lightly used Kics if your interested.

I put them on a coupe and it barely clears the lip of the fender but the vehicle is also lowered 1.6 inches.

Let me know.

As much as I know about cars, I never found out the purpose of using spacers on wheels.

Can anyone give me a quick description of what it does?

Puts space between the hub and the wheel, making the wheel/tire more flush against the fender. Gets rid of the tucked look of the oem 19's.

I don't see why spacers would wear the bearings...
