performance chips--
so ive been searching around and havent found what i wanna know..
For those of you with performance chips, which do you recommend, how are they working for you?
another thing Ive noticed is how no one that ive seen even has a chip.. besides FI, performance chips have a great boost in power for the money.
Now i realize nissan/infiniti is a little weird about performance chips in the respect that they dont manufacture too many for whatever reason, but how come none of you guys seem to have them?

There is no actual chip you have to send your ECU or buy a piggy back system. Technosquare re programs the stock ECU. Then you can buy Greddy Emanage Ultimate or F-con or a unit like that to mess with the motor.

Those are not chip like what European uses, they are piggy back EMS (Engine Management System) You can use them but you have to go to a shop that know how to tune them. Basically this will just enhance the power on the Bolt-on you have to squeeze every power in it. Unichip is the EMS that APS uses on their Turbo Kit. In short this is not plug-N-play. With EMS you'll get an extra 10+whp on top of your bolt-on.

since you guys mentioned the 07' g35, do you think the engine mods on our cars now (z-tube, k&n, Mrev, etc)will still be able to fit for say the 07 and 08' g35s?

Actually your statement is accurate but only if you have a turbocharged car. Chips make only small HP increases on normally aspirated cars.

is the g35 coupe in 2008 supposed to have a very different engine or would pieces from my 2006 g35coupe such as the Mrev2, z-tube, short shifter, etc be able to fit in the 2008 coupe?
