My passenger head light quit working (HID). I took it over to Infiniti dealer for service and DUMB me told them that I put diff bulbs in there. So now I just got a phone call from one of the service guys, He told me that they have discovered some altered wiring ?????????? I did not do **** to this car. Guy also told me that the HID connector for the bulb is not original also. So now they are trying to ping this on me and make me pay for it.
What to do??? Help Plese

 

again, this is what you get for altering oem parts and when it F's up, u try to get a freebee at the dealership... sorry it doesnt work that way....

and it doesnt help ur case if u have body kits, 10 differnet stickers, clear corners, kinetix camber arm and shlt like that.

learn from you mistakes. move on.

Yeah everyone knows that clear corners void your entire warranty...

If your truly did not alter your wiring (are you sure that it has not been altered) then they wil have to prove it to void your warranty. If it was altered and the connector is not OEM then... hmmm they gotha.

 

I just got a call back from them again. Guy told me that now they are not sure if it is in fact altered, so they are pulling another G in the shop and going to take it apart to compare. Hopefully it will go well.

 

if you did not alter the wiring, you have nothing to worry about.

 

I did not. But what if they try to blame me that I did? I need to be able to get out of it.

 

Have them show you a stock wiring setup next to yours. There will be no difference. They would have to be EXTREMELY shady to try and BS you about this.

 

clear corner doesnt void warranty. it just tells the world that you love to replace oem factory parts with POS items made in China.

 

I think I'll be OK. I know that I did not do anything to the wiring, and previous owner did not have time to do anything to it (only had 200 miles) So I'm ready for them bastards, I just watched "Fvck Back Mountain" last night (for the first time) So I'm ready to butt Fvck anyone.

Well I guess the storm is behind us. No need to butt Fvck anyone tonight. They called it " INFINITI THING" One of the control modules has failed and there was no power to the wiring what so ever. So after taking two Coups apart, they accepted the blame and I'll pick it up tomorrow @ 10:00 AM. I guess it's time for me to show that loner how to ride....
