This coming from a guy who has an acura integra turbo... you are the kind of rice my friend. The Integra is slow crap unless its modified too, why'd you buy one? Turbo a G and talk, Integra = rice, period. Its a nice car, but its still ricey to put rims on it (like you have) and doing anything else... geeze you have nothing positive or usefull to contribute here...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power-to-weight_ratio
...then take these numbers:
s2000 curb weight = ~2835 lbs.
G35 Coupe curb weight = ~3524 lbs.
..and figure out the power to weight ratio using the horsepower. Remember to carry the 1, hold on to your seat, and wait for the epiphany.
This thread made my night.

Waste of a thread. Its a dead heat between the torqueless S2000 vs the weight disadvantaged G35 coupe. NEXT SUBJECT...

Just some of my opinions:
- at lower speeds, s2k vs g35 is a driver's race (most s2k owner's don't like to launch at 5000+ rpms all the time)
- at higher speeds, the g35 will eventually pull through. Stock for stock, this has been proven.
- the s2k is a "pure" sports car, the g35 is a sports luxury car. Brand new, both cars are in the same price zone, yet, the g35 is just as fast, looks just as good, and is just as sportsy yet has all the creature comforts and options of a luxury car. Every year, the g35 is improving vastly, while the s2k lacks potential (this is why they are discontinuing it). I love s2ks (if you get them used for around 20k).
- that thread starter totally forgot about the weight factor. Lol. So funny. A 2800 pound car doesn't need the same hp to beat a 3500 pound car.
Maybe, he's just a newbie?

Interesting argument, as I own both. All I am able to tell you, is that these two cars are completely different animals. I enjoy the S for handling, top down driving, and high end power - while I love the G for its torque, sound, and comfort. None is better than the other in my opinion, and were both designed with different objectives in mind. I love both for what they are, and have had fun with both, but come August with the G's lease is up, it's time for a change. I'm thinking replace the G with a Cayman/ 07 TT, and the S with an NSX?

dude your full of it sayin that these cars arent fast. I've taken 2 ss camaros and an srt-4 with it, so that guy with his 04 wasnt stomping it or something cause i know i sure as hell aint losing to a chevy truck unless it has like 450+ hp at the wheels.
oh and i think its time for you to sell your car.

i was looking at the S before i bought the G too... both are great cars but the G is more practical as a daily driver because i like to pick up speed quickly then just cruise so the Gs torque lets me do this w/o going to high on the revs.Originally Posted by G35BDub
