Stock 04 G35 vs S2k with intake and header.

20mph roll - G35 looses
45mph roll - G35 looses
10mph roll - G35 looses
dead stop - G35 looses
65mph roll - Close but no cigar.

So whoever planted a fake story about beating an S2k was lying..

And here an Auto G35 loosing to a chevy truck. LOL.


Moral of the story, G35 is not a fast car, and wasn't ment to be a race car off the lot...

 

First off it wasn't a 'fake' story i planted, why would i make it up?...Secondly i have an 05 6mt, and 3rd off i said it was a good race and had him up to 3rd gear, or along those lines. thanks for the links

 

IMO, This is a dumb statement.

Fast depends on ones opinion of the word.

Personally, considering all cars, i'd say a stock car running in the 14 second range is worthy of being considered fast.

An S2000 vs a G35 6MT is basically a drivers race.

You should stop magazine racing and try taking one on your own (on the drag strip... or, on your own risk, on the street).

I have seen many G35 6MT's take out S2000's and have seen many S2000's take out g35s

I hate it when people post on forums and act like they are the Sh*t. First off, at 280hp the car or 298hp or whatever amount of HP you have, if you have a g35 your going to be faster than 95% of the c and ars on the road. Therefore, RELATIVLY the car is fast. Yes there will be cars that are cheaper and faster wtih less hp but you can go into any price range and do the same thing and guessss what your going to find something cheaper and faster. Thats like saying.. OMG a c6 corvette can beat a Ferrari f430 0-60 and in the 1/4... Therefore the Ferrari is SLOW and not made to go fast. Post something worth reading next time, you just wasted 3 min of my life

 

Also, the that race on youtube was against a modded S2000.

You need to remember that the S2000 probably only had a driver while the G35 had a driver & passenger.

The S2000 also had very good mods on him...

But then again you should obviously know this since you know so much about cars

yes, the s2k, of the lot was ment to be a fast car... it was made by honda as most effective horepower to liter ratio. Its a high rev engine. the g35 is a car that was ment to look nice and have the big 3.5 liter to back it up... but cmon man... seriously,,, our cars is not a fast car... i know cause i have one.. haha.

but yeah, i didn't buy this car because it was "fast".. mostly cause it looked pretty damn sweet.

man that was a modded s2k. You have no idea how responsive s2k's are to a nice set of headers and an intake. Most people with Intake/header/exhaust combo in s2k's can run at least high 13's. My s2k had intake/exhaust/headers + stickies and I ran a good 13.5x in the 1/4. Stock for stock its a drivers race. I love the s2k, and wish to own one again, the g35 is a great car, nice mix of performance/style/price. but... you're entitled to your opinion nice vid btw

Ur saying intake and exhaust give the S2k well over 50whp? hahahahah.. Dumb azz... Intake and exhaust will yeild no more then 15hpmax...

but it does look good. thats why i bought one... but hell no it ain't fast... can't wait to see more stories how someone who just bought a 5speed auto g35 went againt a porche and smoked it by 10 car length.

 

Dude please quit the forums. the s2000 weighs ALOT less than the g35. No one said that intake and exhaust will yeild 50whp, he just said that it would be responsive. Please get your facts straight and stop assuming

 

Ok at first I was trying to be nice... but now you just a moron dude seriously.

An S2000, like a G35 6MT, is a very low 14 second car.

Adding an Intake and Headers can make it get into the 13's easily.

If you're going to post stupid threads like this, atleast know what your talking about.

To me, you sound like a "G35 driver" who wanted and expected M3 performance out of it... but found out otherwise.

Go research both the S2000 and G35 because you obviously havent.

Saying that a 2.2 Liter engine is meant to be fast while a 3.5 liter engine is only meant for show off shows how ignorant and stupid you are.
