BIG issue!!

sup guys...i was at the dealership cause my stero unit was having a problem...i also have a 3rd gear issue...its been grinding when i down shift from 6 to 3rd...anywayz, they warrantied my stereo unit but they said that they can't warranty my transmission because they know i race the car...i'm like what the helL!! supposely cause they see all the mods i have, they won't let warranty cover it.... i told them, how the hell does that make sense? you advertise a sports car and you won't warranty it cause i drive it like a sports car? i have the infiniti corp. number and am going to call about this issue...any suggestions anyone?

thats bullsh#t they just warrantied my engine with all my mods what do u have for mods if u dont have any mods that would cause your 3rd gear to go theyre responsible for it they are just tryin to get out of it like they always do u should bring it to a privately owned infiniti dealer from now on

I would definitely not give in to them. Search for it, I remember reading a law or something a member posted that said that as long as the mods you have aren't responsible for the malfunction then you are fine. I think that was it but even if I'm wrong that's really stupid on their part for not helping you.

make them prove that you were racing and it'll be over.. they cant! plus these cars are made for spirited driving so thats no excuse either way. call corporate!

Consistent shifting from 6th to 3rd will cause tranny problems regardless of racing or not. I never find myself in 6th unless I'm on the highway, and at those speeds I'd never do a money shift like that.
