Full Potential of G35...

What is it ? With twin turbo modded up fully what HP to the wheels do you think this baby will reach..
What the difference between the old skyline and our G's...
why wont we be able to get 750 HP out of our cars..
question might sound stupid to enthusiast.. but my newbie self would like to know what the full potentiall might be..

Btw,, has anyone seen the Dyno's to the greddy TT?

We won't be able to get 750 out of our engines unless you rebuild it with stronger parts and lower the compression. The GT-R comes with a lower compression and stronger parts since it is turboed stock. Maybe it also has to do partly with the fact that the rb26dett is an iron block...not sure.

Re: Full Potential of G35...

even with a skyline if u want crazy power like 750 and up u will need to do some internal modifications. Our engines therotecically could produce more power then the GTR becuase we have a larger displacement. If u got stronger pistons and rods and then droped in some sleves u could run 40psi and have crazy HP

The full potential of the G35 cannot be achieved unless it has a nuclear-powered rocket booster strapped to the roof. And a manual transmission.

Re: Full Potential of G35...

i saw a pic of the greddy's tt for the g35 being 350hp and had the car running on 5.4 psi rather than 7.3 like the z. i hope by the time production model is out.. it will be tuned for 7.3 psi.. or .. seems like 8 grand would just be a bitch for only 70hp.. [note dont kon if it was rwhp or just normal hp.]

Re: Full Potential of G35...

with a full race prep engine, tranny and diff. it could probably break 1000hp with a huge pair of turbos. but wouldn't last very long. With decent reliability probably 500-600 hp.
