Opinions Needed on Mods

I’m trying to make sure this will be worth the investment. I already put a Z tube and pop charger on with little or no noticeable improvement other than sound. I am planning on adding a Stillen single wall cat back system, lightened pulley system, and plenum spacer, which will be around 2k in parts/installation. Do you think that will put the car on edge a little more? I want to really notice a difference this time. I really don’t want too drastic a change in how the car runs or sounds, but I’d like a little more oomph from it when I get into the pedal. If anyone else has similar or the same mods your input would be greatly appreciated.

you won't get any appreciable "oomph" with NA mods. maybe if you got your engine stroked and built, cams, clutch, flywheel, exhaust, headers, plenum spacer, hi-flow cats, ecu reflash/piggyback. then you will feel the extra power. i'd say save the $2k now and save up for a Vortech supercharger. Used ones go for $3500 plus installation.

You will notice a difference with both the plenum spacer and the exhaust. Both of those modifications by themselves will make more power than the z-tube and pop charger combined.
The pullies will also help, but due to the way they gain power (very linear throughout the powerband) it's deceiving and most of the time you won't feel the power gains. You'll normally only be able to see them on the dyno.

With an intake, spacer, dual exhaust and pullies you'll definitely have a much quicker car than stock and it should be very apparent when you drive the car too.

Similar mods here, but no pulleys, no spacer.
Your butt Dyno should feel something after those, but don't expect to feel a lot.
FI is where your butt Dyno says....oh yea baby.

I'd go invest in a Dyno run to get your base line numbers, then go from there.
That way you know how much hp/tq you're gaining with your mods.
Butt Dynos don't always feel the actual gains you get and can be disappointing. Real numbers don't lie and helps physiologically.

Spacer and exhaust are in the right direction for NA. Heard pro/cons on pulleys.

Happy modding'
