So, uh, are you going to follow the forum rules and post up some prices?

In case you are not aware there are vendors who will sell the hks SHIPPED for $1250 brand new...

Good luck, and see about maybe getting the wife to go to a weekend driving school with you, maybe she will get interested!

don't listen to most of youngsters (< 20 years old), they have no idea about a responsibilities being a married man.

Try to keep the arguments to minimum, keep on compromising each other, your marriage is worth much more than just a modded car.

Good luck dude.

yeah...my wife doesn't like when I start pulling apart sh*t for no reason either. But when u think about it later on it kinda make sense what she says. By the way, is it her car, your car, or both of yours?

Ive been married for 10 years and togeather for 14 years. My wife understands my outlets and my cars are just that. We all need a hobby. I understand and support hers and she does the same for me.

I am assuming you love your mod & are not using wife as excuse to come up with reason to sell.

Here is my two-step strategy for Win Win solutions.

Step one:

Separate what might look like a single issue into two issues: Money Issue vs. Non Money Issue.

Ask your wife to explain what she really mean, Does she not like your mod
for need to save money for the family? Or It's not really a money issue but she doesn't like being obsessed with the car & changing the parts for no reason which takes your time away from her?

Step two:

Apply strategy accordingly based on outcome of step one:

If the reason is money, then the strategy is to put her in your shoes.
Ask for a fair contribution, for her to give up somthing from her side.
You can sell one & she would need to sell somthing she loves to generate equal money. She will realize that it's not so easy to drop somthing she loves, the outcome maybe that nobody will need sell anything & she gain some appreciation of you & your hobby.

If her answer is: It's not a money issure. Then selliing is the wrong solution.
Show your dedication by pulling the mods & put in garage for unconditional storage. Give her the time & focus on what she need from you, before long, she'll realize that you have proven those mods are woth nothing compare to her feelings & will soon beg you to put it back on & brag about how great a husband you are to her relatives.

True that we all need a hobby so i changed my hobby to show not the performance. my wife doesn't care spending money. but just that she doesn't like that loud sound from my car...she gets headache...so~ i'm going for wide body kits now and rims ^^

their numbers are garbage...i don't believe they gained 13hp on an na car...my350z.com has member dynos that show the ssv actually lost hp...Kinetix

doesn't even tell you what mods they had on their FI setup...i'm not saying that the ssv doesn't work on an FI setup but similar performance can be had for a

cheaper price...kinetix makes the ssv so i don't believe the dyno numbers they put up...maybe i would have before but after reading all the posts on it not

anymore
