Yea, but look ahead and not backwards. If the press releases about the new G are on target, we won't have any more threads about whether or not the G is fast.

 

Point in fact, older G's are not THAT fast if it can barely catchup with it's lesser siblings.

there was a thread about this along time ago...and it was nothing but a huge debate. I ended up emailing the guys over at nissan (i wish i still had the email) and they said the g35 is faster stock vs stock (which is what im assuming were talking about).

EDIT: im not sure if the 06 has any changes to it, but we were comparing the 05 SE-R to the auto G i believe.

 

1. that hasnt been my experience

2. just because you see a se-r ahead of a g or z in a video doesnt mean its faster. there are other factors such as drivers skills, conditions, vehicle modifications/states of tune and not to mention video bias that can all impact what you see on the screen

 

unless your modded, he was an auto.

 

when i test drove the altima se-r, it didn't pull as much as my 2k2 6spd max...
so i'll hypothesis or theorized that it wouldn't take my g....unless the person powershifts all the way...

i'll ask an uncle-in-law of mines (he's actually younger and is the younger brother to my uncle who is married to one of my cousin aunts from my father's side...confusing isn't it) when i get to fresno...he's got a altima se-r....

 

beat down the guy who first asked this question about who is faster. then ask him if he'd trade his G for an Altima SER bc its faster. My bet is no, so who cares.
