Thumbs down I am high...

Hello all:
Lately something has been bothering me about the driving position in my G. Today I finally realized what has been bugging me for such a long time. It is the hight of the seat! Even though I have it set to the lowest position it is still way too high. I am not super tall but I hover at just under 6'. Does anyone here feel the same way? Any fixes? Please post pics.

I had the same problem when I first got my G, there's a thread with pictures on how to lower the seat. Here's the Cliff's Notes. Raise the seat all the up and forward. You'll see a rod on the right underside of the seat with threads and a nut on it. Take a long vice grip or equivalent and turn it to the right so it moves towards the end of the rod. It will only turn about a 1/4 turn at a time, so it will take a few minutes. After doing this you will be able to lower the seat about 1-2" more. It worked for me and now I sit at a comfortable height.

Yes, there is a mod you can do to lower your seat even more. Its a simple DIY, but hopefully you have small hands. There is a DIY somewhere, Ive tried searching for it but I couldnt find it. I did this to my car and it adds about 2" more headroom, and u sit much more slammed just like a Z.

I know how grateful you are. When I went to pick up my G, the seat height was so unbearable that I didn't drive it for the first weekend that I had the car.

Good luck.
