Real HP + VDC Question
i was hoping if this can get clarified.
infiniti's site says 293 HP/258 TQ for the 07s. kbb.com says 306 HP/268 TQ.
which is the correct figure? is one the old standard and one the new SAE standard? if so, i guess those numbers won't matter. the only real figure to worry about is the WHP. what's the average WHP on the 07? are there HP/TQ difference for each coupe year? because kbb shows a HP diff between the 06s and 07s.
please keep in mind i am only talking about the 6MT coupes.
as with the VDC, are there any benefits driving with it off? does it save gas, increase performance? as far as i know, the VDC is there to catch the slips of the rear tires correct? what are your habits/preferences with the VDC feature?

RWHP on an 06 g35 cuope with 383 miles on it are 217. Ive not yet had a chace to dyno an 07 to see what the real hp is. The vdc will not imrove or worsen gas mileage, its stritcly traction control. With it on it cuts off your fuel and applies the brakes in order to keep all the tires going at the same speed. if it senses a tire going at a different speed than the others it comes on and tries to regulate that. With it off means you can do burnouts all day.
