Re: i got my car back!!! BUT..
The airbag's front intertial sensor is close to the external temp sensor on the front of your car. If the wire that runs from the front, through the firewall, and into the cabin is cut, it'll read -22. The wire is, I THINK green and orange (I'm going off like 6 month old memory here), and runs along the left side of the engine bay (if you're facing the car) with a bundle, up, across the top of the bay, and through a grommet. If you locate the sensor, you can locate the wire color... you'll need to take the grille off to do so.
Take it in to whoever did the work, take off the grille, find the temp sensor (they'll know what it looks like), and follow the wire. Odds are, they broke it in the cabin, so they'll need to run a new wire all the way around and through. It comes out around the panel where the trunk-release switch is located. They probably broke the wire while fiddling with your sensor...
Good luck!

Re: i got my car back!!! BUT..
I found this out the hard way. My alarm installer was running a wire through the grommet to run a tach sensor. After it's all ready to go, I drive away. In the summer heat.
My AC won't work-- it's -22 outside. DOH
Drove right back to the guy, and he figured it out pretty fast. We found the sensor, followed it to the wire, and then found the dead end of it in the cabin. Rewired the whole thing, and it was done in record time. Once you find it, to someone competent it's a simple fix. If your installer doesn't know what any of this means... go to your dealer.

Re: i got my car back!!! BUT..
Thanks-- I knew my installer screwed up for a purpose Glad I stuck around to help him fix it, now. Good luck, and I hope it's a little easier to figure out!
