PS2 Socom Fans... Need Help

wassup guys lol stupid thread but im hoping someone here can help me with my problem. Also im not sure if this is in the right place to post it but its most likely where i always check on this forum lol. Okay heres the story... i bought a headset for Socom and my ps2 but for some reason i cant hear any of the players talking to me. I know its not the headset because i also tried out my friends usp headphones with microphone to talk into and they also didnt work. The players can hear me but i cant hear them... SOMEONE HELP ME

lol Im not a big gamer but this game is real cool lol
