I think the reasons our door does this is, like someone said, it's so damn heavy. Also, it opens WIDE so if it doesn't have some sort of inward tension, we may push it too hard and WHAM, you'll hit the car next to yours. I like the fact that it does this for this very reason. Yes, I have gotten some silly bumps from the door hitting me or the door catching the end of my coat.

ya my doors attack me a lot ... the other night i was actually ready to rip it off... i was trying to pick my drunk passed out friend in the passengers seat...luckily she was light...but during the time i swear my door hit me like 3 time and we were on level ground

 

we have no grooves for our doors to sit in

Lol. If everyone had lambo doors then we wouldnt have to worry about getting door dings from other fvckers opening their doors aaaand we'd be able to park in tighter stalls..hehe. I'll probably get flamed for this but I'd do lambo doors for its functionality not its looks
