sorry to just jump in with a different brand of shifter guys, but I did notice a night & day difference with my stillen. also, shifter vibration was reduced as well.

My RE SS has been installed for almost a week now. Throws are noticeably shorter. Seems like more than a 20% reduction in throw. Less vibration. Less vagueness in gear selection.

There is very noticeable difference in throw and engagement. I hear the Stillen has something like a 33% reduction, so you might need to pick up one of those instead, if you really can't tell. For myself, the 20% put it at just bit longer throw than an S2000's throw (though much MUCH more notchy and still sloppier), and I happen to think that the S2000 has an almost a perfect drive train, minus AWD. Well, at least, for what the car was intended. Anyways.

I wouldn't mind having the throw shorter, but mostly, i would like the side to side slop reduced to nothing, more than anything.

It is not a really noticeable decrease in throw. But it engages each gear so much more smoothly. Its not as notchy as the stock one and there is no mistaking which gear your going into. Each gear feels so much crisper when shifting. Definately worth it
