Did 2004 FOBs come with a trunk release?

Basically I'm trying to figure out a better way into the trunk other than having to open the driver door and hit the button. I've been finding it more and more annoying, especially since I know the 2003 350z comes with one and that trunk is useless.

Any help is appreciated.

 

this is a pic of the 03-05 remote (which doesnt look any different than my 06 ) but according to riverside infiniti there are two remotes. one for 03-05 and one for 06/07 but i think they all work. anyway...back on topic

my 04 came with a trunk release button on the FOB

 

yup I got one on the key fob

 

Go on ebay, purchase a key fob w/ trunk release and reprogram it.

 

thanks for the replies, it's been driving me crazy having to open the door. I'm going to get on this right away.

The reprogramming of the fob, does the dealer have to do it? what does it involve?
