if you want to lower your car just an inch go with the Tein H-techs. By getting them you will not need to deal with camber kits.

def. go with the Tein H techs!!

coilovers are $$$$

im actually looking to buy them but do you need a camber kit along with the alignment if you drop it too low? im thinking yes or am i wrong?

i know if u drop a car more than an inch u need cambers but i figure maybe theres an exception with tein basic coilovers since the new springs and shocks..

Start Here...

You need to know what different suspensions provide in terms of ride height and ride quality with respect to stock ride (stiffness etc.).

You can replace either springs only (keep stock shocks), replace springs and shocks separately, or replace springs and shocks with coilover suspension. There are pros and cons to each option. Those pros and cons include cost, ride quality and whether or not you will need additional parts (and associated cost) to adjust your camber once your car is lowered.

A relatively inexpensive option for lowering your coupe 1" while keeping a basically stock feel (maybe a little stiffer than stock) is Tein H-Tech springs for the 350Z. Lots of coupe owners here with that setup (incl. me). But read up on the forum before you decide. Good luck.

Ive read so many forums on tein springs/shocks im blue in the face

Not many people talk too much about coilovers, just about tein H techs as well as the S techs for the 350z and G35

people say that coilovers are less expensive in the long run if u play to drop your car more than an inch, would you guys agree?

yes you wil still need a camber kit if you drop it with coilovers or not.

if you have the money, get the coils.

Coilovers are great if you like to play with your drop and damening settings. I have the Tein basics and they're great, not too harsh and only a little bit stiffer over the stock sport suspension. Car handles amazingly with them, with springs you're going to lower it a certain amount, but eventually, you'll want to go lower.

If you plan on dropping more than an inch on just springs, you're going to blow the stock struts and have to buy new ones, after the price for the springs and a set of tokico D-specs, you will have almost spent the same amount on a set of Basics and dont have ride height adjustability.

for those of you that have purchased or are looking to purchase camber kits, which ones do you recommend for someone like myself who would put the basic coilovers at about a 1.5" drop??
