Other than that, no. It'll be summer before these things (PS3 or Wii) are on the shelves in any quantity.

Besides, if the shipped the required quantity, they wouldn't fly off the shelves at the same rate, would they? At this rate, they're guaranteed to sell out almost immediately.

XBOX 360 was the same way. Now they're available everywhere.

 

Where you at? few are for sale here in NorCal's Best Buy, and will have more on 31st, you can also find them on Ebay for about 50 bucks over retail(if not less).

 

I was just looking at Craigslist for PS3 today, lots of people are selling, some at pretty good prices. I have no experience buying from someone on Craigslist before, but I might give it a shot this time.

Stores don't get them from their own warehouses. It comes straight from Sony via UPS or DHL or whatever. So its always in the middle of the day that stores get them.

 

Why would they want to flood the market, Better to bring them in slowly and rip the **** out of people.

first of all its not crap, if u knew anything about technoligy itself, you would know that the ps3 is well worth it, being a blue ray player alone for 600 is worth it. but thats besides the point. i know i can get one for 800, not worth more than the suggested retail price, i know i can get it from ebay, i was just wondering if anyone had any insight on when the next big shipment is suppossed to be, the most recent one was dec 24th

Price is dropping fast. I had one and only got 50.00 more then what I bought it for. I heard Sony is bringing in a shiet load after the 1st.

 

Unfortunetly, I wouldnt expect to find ps3 around any time soon..

theres a very low supply for such a high demand

i was at the mall on the 24th.. EB games had two in stock
but i dont see what the point would be to blow 750 on a game system (and games) with next semester right around the corner

im waiting till next semester

but if i get bored up at school, im def buying one.. and i know i will find one at the mall easily
