VDC OFF, BRAKE, and SLIP light on
#16
Well I just dropped the G off at the stealer....the brake fluid looked alright, so that means pads, and maybe rotors. How much is a fair price for 2 rotors (from the dealer, not online). I just got a quote from Meineke for 850 for 2!!!
I am also overdue for the 30K service, which the dealer who sold it to me neglected to perform. I need new belts, about 200 bucks, and def. a transmission flush, which the dealer told me was about 350!!!! Is that insane or what? so b/w those two things and the oil change, I would be to about 600 bucks, and the service is about 700. I guess I should go with the full service.
How do I make sure I don't get jacked on the brakes?
Help!!!! The stealer will be calling me shortly, no doubt.

lube up...I think this ones gonna hurt.
Just keep in mind you don't have to get the transmission flushed now...if you're short on cash wait another month. It does sound expensive though...

Wow, I may have found a decent dealership (Clearwater, FL). They are telling me my pads are fine, and rotors ok, and that it was just the brake fluid. i did plop down the big bucks for the 30K service though, having some small cracks in my belts and all and needing a transmission flush. They did say that my clutch is going on its way out though....I was fearing that was coming soon.
