quick question? is it normal to have little vibration on the steering wheel !

i went dealer a lot of time about the steering wheel vibration , but they said since your engine light does not come on , they can not do something about it . i have never driven any other G coupe before , so i can not compare. any one can tell me is it normal to have little vibration in the idle, especially ,you are turning your steering wheel???

No .. you either have:

1) a bent wheel
2) need to get your wheels balance
3) warped strut
4) need allignment.

Take it to the dealer- it is likely just #2.. unless you have substandard tires and the car has been sitting still for a while.

so... they said that they can't look at your steering/suspension issue cause your ENGINE light wasn't on? Doesn't that seem a little "strange" to you? And I quote "strange" cause it's "retarded".

tell them to check it, or you'll tell on them to Infiniti Corporate. or mommy.

Steering wheel vibration...........not!

You may feel quite a few things thru your steering wheel but vibration isn't
normal. Sounds like tire/wheel is out of balance. If Infiniti gives you a
hassle go to a good tire shop and have them check it out for you. Then take
the bill back to Infiniti and say "see dummy"..............

Did you check to see if any of your wheel weights/stickers are missing?

Infiniti is known for their great customer satisfaction..perhaps you should remind them of that

OP is talking about vibration on idle, I don't think this has to do with tires. It seems like engine vibration is getting to the steering wheel.

I had some steering wheel vibration on my previous car, but that was because the bass was too loud.

Could be a mount or power steering issue...
