Loose Steering Issue

I'm having serious problems with my steering. It started feeling really loose about a month ago and would actually track any cracks or bumps in the road which freaked me out since i didn't want to end up going into a curb or something. It acts REALLY sensitive under hard acceleration especially around turns. I replaced my brakes 2 weeks ago and the problem remained so I had new tires put on today which didn't do anything for it either.

I have an 05 DG 6MT coupe with the stock 19's and stock suspension.

I did a search and the only instance i could see where this was happening to a stock car was where the alignment was off. I don't think my alignment is off since I can take my hands off the wheel and the car doesn't drift or anything.

Does anyone know what's going on here
Thanks in advance for any help and/or advice.

yeah, forgot to mention. i checked it and it's fine. that's why i thought it was either the tires or brakes.

ok so i talked to the guy at the dealership and he said that I might need an alignment. I don't get it though, the car drives in a perfectly straight line, how can i need an alignment?

Not an expert here by any means, but I suppose if alignment(toe) is off equally, that could be causing your problem and still tracking straight, idk.
Have you hit any curbs in the past? Or slammed any pot holes?

But in my past experience, that symptom has always been worn out steering bushings and/or components., but yours is a 05 so it's too new for that I'd think.

Being you got new shoes for your ride, I'd get an alignment and see if that does the trick. In my book, I always get an alignment when I get new tires anyway.
