i have 19 inch axis matrix rims, about a 4 inch lip in the back i was wondering i wanted to get the M sport rims and paint them all black but its looken like they are hard to get and too pricey. Should i just paint my Current Rims Black even the Lip. Ive see Time Attack Volk Rims on a Bmw with a Big lip painted black and it didnt look bad at all im just wondering if i should do the same?

 

time attacks don't have a big lip if im not mistaken. may have been some other black rim with a red ring.

anyway, i think it'd be sick

Unless you have a really decked out car, going with all black rim isn't a classy look. I'd at least leave the polish lip. I gotta love the look of rolling down the interstate and seeing a set of polish lips on a dropped car.

 

my car will be decked out but since when is a all black rim a classy look? on certain cars it looks nice but its not really considered classy, its always been a sporty look for a car that will be modified but still kept clean.

 

what does anybody else think?

 

those are the ce28's on that Bimmer. I love the time attacks, so sick!

 

I'm not feelin the all black I at least have to have a polished lip...but then again I'm a chrome guy...lookin' at that beemer I can't tell if he has aftermarket rims or if they are just dirty as helll! Just my opinion

 

I'm worried the lip on my rear rims are to big and it will look wierd once its painted can anybody photoshop the axis matrix rims painted black

 

I think flat black wheels sorta look like you never clean you wheels or are running 4 steel wheels w/ no hubcaps.

Or you want the Hot Wheel look

 

im gunna paint the inside black and leave the chrome lip

 

all black wheels don't always look good because of the whole steely look, but the time attacks have to be some of the most aggressive looking track wheels out there.

 

thats why i like them.
