Ya me too I'm having problems powering into a drift... much easier with an ebrake that actually brakes.

dealership wants $40 bucks, high but unless you can do it yourself you're outta luck. I think im gonna get it done, its dangerous, I was on my drive way and pulled it up pretty far and got out real quick and she started rolling with my gf in the car. luckily i had a smart gf who pulled it up farther

If you are just adjusting the ebrake, there is a self-locking nut up front near the ebrake lever itself. If re-calibration of the actual ebrake shoe is necessary, the rear wheels need to come off to access the adjuster nut.

All this is documented in the Service Manual on pages PB-3 to PB-10.

ummmm...... you can shorten the cable. It's not very hard to do at all. A bunch of my friends have done it with their AE86's and S13's

I was actually thinking of taking it to the dealership next week for this very same problem. Wouldn't you consider this a problem that falls under warranty?
