"Latticework" removal

Hey guys (and ladies)...has anyone removed the "latticework" from the lower front bumper? I got to looking at my car the other day while I was washing it and decided this stuff had to go (you know what I'm talking about...the cheap set in to the two lower front air intakes). I'd like to pull it out and put some ducting leading to the front discs in there...

If anyone has done this, or it's been posted, please help a brutha out...

I do believe it is part of the bumper moulding , removal would involve cutting it off. Good luck

Also remembetr that keeping the brake too cold is not good either. Unless ur racing I would not really suggest adding more airflow to the brakes.

Especially if you have the aero kit which is supposed to direct air to your brakes already.
