OK... My MPG should be improving as the time passes but I am getting just oposite. First I was getting around 310 on full tank of gas, then it went down to 270 and now I am getting 247. WTF... I drive it pretty hard, but come on, 14.6 MPG is really bad. I had 330 Ci with every possible Dinan mod done and I had way better MPG....

Sorry guys... just had to vent....

 

I drive it hard too and I get about 16-17mpg. I dont think I ever got over 20mpg. 330 Ci doesnt have the power of the VQ maybe thats why

I had a 2003 Yamaha R6 over the summer and let me tell u if I was running it hard it would use as much gas as my 2000 GTI VR6..

But lets say running a bike up 2 16,500 RPM's in 1 2 ans 3 is alot of fun =)

I had it as low as the 13s. It's around 19-21 now, 6000 miles in.

I am at 8000 miles now. It should be getting better but it is not. I guess I have to start driving it more conservative but what is the point in getting this kind of car and driving it like grandma. I do see triple digits a lot when I drive.

 

Unfortunately "power" is not the explanation.

I only get 16 mpg consistantly with my G coupe. I also have a BMW 540 (which is a V8) and it gets at least 18mpg. So the G sucks on gas mileage!

Many G owners report the same low mileage; however, others report 20+ mpg. Obviously the mix of city/hwy driving and having on a/c, etc. can affect it; but there does seem to be a big variance between the mileage reported by many on this board. I was wonder if owners taking the mpg from there nav units are getting correct mpg. data?. I've noticed those of us reporting low mpg are actually calculating it based on miles driven divided by gallons at fill up.

yeah i get about 11.5mpg i drive like i stole it!
but on a roadtrip i took i got 28 on pure highway driving, with a lot of high speed so i guesse there is hope!

The highest I got was 13.1 and it was all downhill from there...

 

I get about 14 - 15 mpg also. (2400 miles or so). What can you do?

I have 6speed and always have my foot in it. Even when it was new the worst mileage was 19mpg...Now I never get below 20 mpg even with a heavy foot.
