It Does Not A Ffect Wrranty, Only Serious Motor Work , Will Void Warranty, Like Fi, Ie Super Charger, Turbo Kit.

if the short shift causes the problem that you want to warranty, then yes it will void it. but if youre taking the car in for something nonrelated then youll be fine.

If something happens to your trans depending on your dealer they will say its from abuse and use the short throw as evidence so if you have a tranny problem swap them out then bring it

An easy way to ensure they don't give you a rash of crap if your trans has a
problem.....ask the dealership where they stand on this issue and have them
install it for you. Then you should be covered.........at least with the tranny!

as a nissan employee, the only warranty issues you may have is if you experience a gear linkage issue, directly caused by the new shifter - at which point the only thing that wouldn't be covered is the linkage itself, and maybe the interface between the linkage and the trans.
