i know there is a million threads about funny noises coming from the clutch, but i havent come across this one yet.
When i'm sitting still, Idling, not in gear, feet offthe pedals, you can can hear a clicking and grinding coming from under the car. Once you push the clutch in( no gas) the sound goes away.
i have an 05 with 17,000miles.
any help would be awesome. The closest dealership is an hour away, and i don't want to go unless i have to.

Yeah, I have the same problem. From the cluth pedal, you can almost trace the vibration / click back to the tranny or engine. I'm not sure if its just the heat / vibration of the engine that is somehow transfer to the clutch pedal and we feel it. Anyone??

Mine does the same thing, i just picked it up 2 weeks ago.

Is it anything to be worried about? it annoys the hell out of me.

 

nothing to be worried about...it's normal for our cars

 

That is why I gave up on my 03 6mt just cant take it anymore so I got a 06at and it not so bad.
