Water leaking onto pedals...WTF
so im driving in southern florida, where it rains basically once a week at least. It starts raininig like a b1itch and i was wearing sandals, like the only time ive ever worn then while driving. So as its raining hard outside i feel water drippin on my feet...im like wtf??? the clutch is getn all slippery and $hit.......it happened once when i was in a car wash machine...but i thought it was the car wash....the only mod ive had done to my car that i think couldve fuked with it is a viper alarm installed....any1 kno what the problem is? this is urgent...
In order to install something like a viper alarm you have to run a couple wires (tach, hood pin, siren) to the main brain which is usually mounted under the steering column. So maybe when they ran those wires into the car they didn't properly seal the hole they made.... where'd u get it installed?
I had the same problem over on the other side. When we took out my engine the main harness would not seal back up as well. Had to add some silicone to seal it back up.

The firewall is the back metal area of your engine compartment....behind the motor......................it has weatherstrip that runs along the top to seal the hood to the engine compartment area....check to make sure the weatherstrip has not come loose anywhere.....
I still don't think that would be the problem area....maybe the drains by the winshield are clogged, and its not letting the water run off from the windshield properly........that would be my first guess....also, look around the wiper assembly/arms.......is there any place water could easily enter through to the interior........
