Let the mods begin!
I got rid of my BMW 330CI and got my 06 Coupe 6MT a few weeks ago... My BM had tons of mods and now I'm starting from scratch once again...This is my first Infiniti and very first Japanese car... Searching through the forums I've found some great things to do, but I was wondering what you guys thought the best order to go by is? What steps did you take to get to where you are with your cars today? THANX!
What do you want to do? go faster or look better.
if you want to go really fast, save up for a turbo or supercharger
if you want to go a little faster, get the motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer and mrev2, intake, headers, exhaust, hi flow cats, and tune either from technosquare or utec.
if you want to look better go with some nice rims and a good drop. then get a body kit. i like most of them except for the stillen and veilside.

The BMW was already at 85,000 miles and i needed to sell it before the miles got too crazy and no1 wanted to buy it.... I was going to buy a newer 330ci, but later figured it woulda been boring buying the SAME car and doing pretty much the SAME mods... I've always liked the styling on the infiniti, plus it was a bit more affordable... so i decided to try something new

Wow...Going from a BMW to an Infiniti? That's an awkward move. But, hey it's your money, it makes you happy, so why not?
Like any car, the sky's the limit. I recommend going to PartShippers, Z1 Performance and, Verified Racing Techonologies (formerly Violent Racing).
I also recommend signing up for the Preimier membership. That opens up doors to other deals (other than the forum marketplace) not seen by regular members as well as some other stuff

Well good for you!!! You made an excellent choice nonetheless. The VQ motor is a very good motor and Nissan took their time with it. But if speed and power is your goal dont go out buying other mods that wont do you any good.
Save the cash for FI because that is the way to get the most bang for your buck. There is alot of people here that have NO2, Single Turbo, Twin Turbo and Supercharged applications but make sure you do your research before you start making purchases.
You will find this site and the member pretty helpful in pointing you in the right direction.
