I want to tint but I don't want them to make it a big deal when I go to turn it in. I also thought about putting in a ztube and filter and just thought I would keep the oem parts and reinstall when I turned it in.

 

Just go ahead and do that. You can easily replace the OEM parts and remove the tint when you turn it in.

 

I heard removing tint was a PITA. Has anyone turned in a lease with legal tint still on the windows with no problem?

 

I leased a 2003 Acura TL and I tinted the windows and installed a spoiler...returned with no problem once they are OEM add ons

 

Most don't care about tint... (as long as it's not limo or something)
Just turn it in as is.

 

I leased a 2001 Acura CL-S and turned it in with tint and intake. They never said a word but commented on how nice the car looked.

I asked the service manager here at our dealership about mods and a lease. He says do what you want (I can even sell my wheels) but you still gotta turn the car in with the parts on, obviously I can't turn the car in without wheels. But they don't have to be the stock wheels.

 

I've tinted every car I've ever leased (about 10) and never had a problem turning them in....you'll be fine!
