How does the g35 do in the 1/4 mile? TURBO and SC owners Come In Here

What does a 450-500rwhp g35 do in the 1/4 mile?

You all know my story, i had a g35 w/ a Stillen SC.
Car saved my life in a accident so bad, no one even cops could believe i lived.

Fire department said it was the worst accident they had seen. Passer bys knew it was a death... Im right here bitchs....

I since moved on to a 2005 E55. Short summary of the car is this: You actually cant believe a car can be this fast. ITs not that just the car is fast, but the power never stops.

The car doesnt slow down at any rpms. The car is actually faster after 100mph. Its really quite amazing, flooring it is quite scary actually.

Im curious if a 450rwhp g35 is feeling the same power? Or ****, it might even be more crazy. (my dad has a 06 CL65 610hp and 739lb/lf of torque stock)..

What do your cars that are 500hp run in the 1/4 mile?

I know this questions are kinda jumpy, but i didnt feel like typing 2 pages worth on a sunday. Thats what tmrw's about

I think it's low 13s and high 12s. I believe the E55 is still going to be faster stock.

wow, mid 12s with slicks? thats it?!

I saw someone's sig on here and he ran a 13.8 in an auto with bolt ons, street tires too.

A 500WHP car that runs 12.5 is pretty sad Hell someone hit 12.9 in a 6 speed M3 with exhaust and slicks!!

I've done spriited driving in a S55, I think the power falls off compared to a TT VQ35. The new S600 feels like it has much more power than the older supercharged 55 motors. The E certainly has the weight advantage vs a S class but I didn't like the powerband as much as the bi-turbo 600.

Amazing thing to deliver power to the ground the way the do while being absolutely lux.

It might be very fast but the 2005 E55 is not a nice looking car.

That's because M3s run 13.4-13.2 stock.

The power to weight and gear ratio is important. Also the launch and grip of the car is very important. 500whp doesnt mean anything except the trap speed will definitely be higher than that of a lower hp car. The rest is variable.

I realize that, but the M3 was putting down 320whp and they are not THAT much lighter than the G35.

The G35 should definitely be faster than that. Camaros are every bit as heavy and one with 450whp will run into 11s EASY.

Unless its a full size pickup truck, anything with 450whp should be faster than 12.5 with slicks!

it all comes to putting down the power to the ground, and catching traction...u said 450 whp not 500. 450 whp with slicks should get u mid-low 12's. the lower time u get the harder it is to chip off a whole second.

its doesn't end with 500hp. It all depends on tranny modifications tires etc. 450whp G35 will rape the E55 with the right tranny and tires. GurgenPB has done so with his almost 450wrhp G35 auto.

I realize that, but remember 12.5 was on slicks. I dont understand how the same car with 175+ more whp can only trap 1 secon faster
