first, i suck at spelling, sorry.
as far as i know, VDC causes a throttle cut when the car is slipping...mine dropped down to 4 grand tonight when i was trying to get on it. total suck. anyways, is there a way to disable the VDC all the time so i have to turn it on when i want it? i don't want it automatically on, i want it normally off and i have to switch it on when i want it.
thanks

That way it's always off but you can still turn it back on if ever needed.

Oddly enough, if I'm forced to drive in the snow, I have to turn the VDC off to get out of the driveway, hah.
That's understandable.
I think it's funny when people think the VDC is going to keep them from losing control. It works well when you're going 40 and under if you don't know how to drive. Anything faster than that and it won't do anything except light up on your dash with the SLIP light.

im still a pretty newb to the whole RWD system so i used to keep it on at all times but once i hit that button...
now i drive with it off but alot more carefully. i find myself taking turns slower to not shake my *** out there u know? but i like to find a nice BIG and open parking lot at night just to practice gaining control when you slip. its best to know how to drive your car, dont let a computer do it for you
