Some pics from the "shotty" work

These are pics of the aero package coming off of my rear bumper. Looks like they used Elmer's glue, but it's some shotty sticky tape! Sorry for the really bad pics, took them with the cell phone! Couldn't find my digital. Car is back in the shop AGAIN!! Told them not to even call me until its complete! Oh well!

Make them do a walk around with you before they give you back the car and inspect it and make sure it's up to your standards.

Oh believe me brother, I did do the walk around, IN THE DARK!! Yeah, they had me come in around dusk to pick her up! But yes, you are right, I will do a VERY thourough inspection next time! And I'll bring a flashlight!

Is this right after the install? ...if so that really sucks, they should have done a better job than that!! but u should have checked it b4 leaving also

if this happened over time its kind of commom i need to redo one of mine as we speak
probly from the spinning things while going thru carwash or something

FYI the proper way to install them is with the 2 sided sticky tape
& i think 1 or 2 screws

Same thing happened to me. The 3m sticky tape loosens if not done properly. I bet the surface was not properly prepped/cleaned.

Let me guess, it was Infiniti of Kerney Mesa???? if so.... that would be strike in my book of people's experiences with them ( including mine ) They never aim to dissapoint...if it wasn't them, then don't go there either.....

Nope, not a dealership! I have to give these guys a chance to correct the deficiency, and if they mess it up again, then on to another shop!
