I usually try and get all of the power out my gears. I shift somwhere between 4k and 5k rpms but also that depends on what I am doing while driving

If your at at Drag Strip... an Ideal launch would be @ around 3500 RPM. But you gotta feather the clutch and watch how much gas you give it or else your gonna spin too much tire.

I launch at about 3k... But i still get wheel spin... It will just take feel and practice... I ran a 13.9 At 103 and 60ft was 2.295 so not to good out of the hole...
And i usually redline first gear to set up for second and shift at 6800 after that... Power really starts to drop after 6500...
