Angry Tint Ticket!!

so im gett'n off work..then this cop pulls me over for a damn front tint tix. i have a 20% all around in my blk g but don't want to get it removed..
if its a fix it ticket w/corrections- can i just pay the fine and be done with or do i really have to get it checked to get it written off...
hmmm
...was thinking...
1) take off tint, get it written off, re-apply later?..
2) pay the fix it
3) switch w/someone else's car for checkup
4) roll down my window to get it checked and say that i have no windows. lol

i hate fck'n la cops...
i wonder how much i have to pay for fix-it. i rather pay the fine instead of taking it off...

I'm pretty sure in CA, the vehicle will be inspected before the ticket is signed off AND you still have to pay the fine. The fine also increases if you get caught again. Your idea 3) sounds pretty good to me, I don't know if they go through the headache to match your plates to the VIN number.

Let us know how you made out.

The questions is do you really want to lie to an officer and try to get away with it? It could open up a world of pain.

my first time, i paid the 25 dollars and kept my tint.... 3 months down the line i got pulled over again, and i was just gonna pay it off again, but they hiked the price from 25 dollars to 150... needless to say, i just took it off.

this is why i like indiana....i have 20% on my g, but for the last 5 years my accord has 5% on it, no problems, and my show truck has 2 layers of 5% all around....nobody bothers us even though the law is nothing less than 30% on the sides.

I don't think the cops usually check the VIN of the car during inspection time. They just look at it and sign the paper. I had car pulled over before tinted front windows and exhausts and all they do is they walk over and look at it and sign it if it's fixed. And that's it

what's an inspection?

again, indiana is great. if it has wheels you can register it. i've never had anything inspected to get plates or registration in my life.
