ZEnclosure and 1 12" sub

I have searched and got to read some good info on this enclosure. I want to get one with a single sub and plan to mount the amp to the right. Does anyone have one with a 12" in it? I read one thread that the builder was planning to make one. Just want to see if anyone has one. The Sub I plan to run is a Soundstream RFW-12 with a Reference 500sx amp. The sub will work with a .6 to .8 enclosure so it should be fine.

Some subs sound different in that box. I had to JL Audio 10w3v3's and it didn't sound to good. Just compare the airspace of the box to the sub.

I have the Zenclosure w/ 1 12" JL W6v2 and DAMN it sounds better than 2 10's JL W6v2 (Zenclosure). It does matter what sub you have becuase some you need more airspace and some you have just too much airspace. It won't give you that correct thump sound if you don't have the right airspace.

Which box do you have? The one for a 10 and you installed a 12 or a custom box for the 12? How much cf is yours? Is it the offset one for mounting the amp on it?

with my w6v2, just perfect, imo. Not too much, not too little. Will hit hard as hell and not too much if you want.
I only have one 10

Well he does make a box for a 12 that is 1.2 cf but no amp mounting on it. And the reference 12 I wanna get will not work with it as the box has too much volume! lol I might just get the 10 with the reference 10 and it will be just right. Or I can get a different sub like the Picasso 12 and the 1.2 cf box will be just right. Decisions, decisions.
