$2600 for a 4 year warranty extension flexible?

Okay so I'm definitely extending the warranty on my G35 coupe as its comin up soon. If I do it before I hit 50k miles (currently @ 42,000) I can get a 4 year, 48000 miles extension at zero deductible for $2570. Does anyone know if there is any flexibility on this number from the dealer? Or is it right from Infiniti corp?

It's decent they let you pay 100.00 a month if I recall correctly. I don't think there is much flexibility. Try around at different dealers though because some stealerships try to raise the price a bit to bring in some money for the dealer.

whatever dealer you go to make sure you get the infiniti extended program, that way you know you will be backed no matter where you take it, and honestly i would opt for the 200 or 100 deductable program, no need to do 0 because you will probably never take full advantage of the 1200 gap between the 2.

Negotiable

When I purchased my 2007 sedan, I was looking for an extended warranty because of all the new electronics and I'm planning to give this car to my son in 5-6 years when he is driving. They quoted me $2800 to extend to 7yr/100K/0 deductible. I got it down to $1600 before purchasing it. My wife's Acura MDX was $1650 for 7yr/100K in 2005.

This is news to me.

Let me understand this.. You can go back to your dealer before your 5yr 60k manufacturer warranty is up and pay for another 4 yr 48k warranty for 2570?

Its that simple?

If so thats outstanding.

If i were you, i'd call local dealerships and ask around. I was getting 3 diff. answers from 3 dealerships.

Dealer one: 5year/60K/$0 de. - $2500+ (extended warranty)
Dealer two: 5year/60K/$0 de. - $2200+ (extended warranty)
Dealer three: says i can still get 'new car warranty' of 7years/70K miles - $1500/$100 de.

So go figure

I'm looking to extend my warranty. I'm a little confused about it because I keep hearing about the 7yr/100K Elite Extended Warranty from Infiniti and my local dealer just offered me a 6yr/82K mile warranty. What gives? Is my dealer trying to sell me a third party warranty?

Also.. How does the deductable work? Do you pay a $100 deductable every time you have something fixed?

If anyone has any leads on a good price for the 7yr/100K Infiniti Elite Extended Warranty, please post or private message me.

It also depends on the mileage your vehicle already has. Obviously getting the extended warranty before your car pulls out of the lot is the lowest.

I didnt ask my dealer for the 4year one, but here is what i have for 2 and 3:

2years = 1800
3years = 2300

It is just like the warranty I currently have, with zero deductables. It is also fully transferrable or refundable, if I decide to drop the warranty in a year they can do a recalculation and refund me some amount of money.

I'm going to the dealer on Tuesday to get some more information, so I will ask them about the 4 years one as well.
