one headlight lens is dull.

one headlight lens is dull.

One of my headlight lens has fine scratches spiderweb like like it was rubbed with steel wool.Some one told me chrome cleaner any id-ears what to do.

wet sand with 1000 grit and buff with rubbing compund and high speed buffer

try polishing it first...if it dosent work then do that^^^^

Use some blue magic wheel polish. It's a soft blue paste. I use it to polish metals and plastic. I used it on some friends cars with yellowed headlights and it took out the haze.

Meguirs(sp?) PlastiX - bottle is inexpensive and it works wonders!! you should see my neighbors old van!! hahaha

+1. The dealer actually fixed mine up with the 3M Plastic Polish. You can get it at NAPA

The Plastic Polish was cool. I had some cloudy haze on the headlight lense sand this stuff made it looks clean and clear!!
I used the Meguiar Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner. Kragen/pepboys have this..

Did you buy the car used? If so you have a good change of a single aftermarket headlamp assembly replacement which=accident in the past. Not a 100% determining factor but the chances are good!

BTW wetsanding works great! I did it on my VW R32 old headlamp after i was in an accident.
