Thx 4 the info cloud! What kinds of ss line are u using (nismo?). Are you still having problems w/ the clutch play? Is the clutch still depressed when you get in the car in the morning, or did the bleed remedy that issue? Thx bro!

bleeding fixed the issue but it's a really aggresive clutch.

^^More agressive than your past nismo setup? Quieter though b/c of the quiet option, correct?

It's so aggresive it shudders in first gear. That's the main issue I have as of now. It is quieter than the nismo though.

Maybe a matter of getting used to/breaking in? btw, I have followed in ur footsteps, and have ordered an orc 409 super single disc silent, damper, friction clutch --I hear nothing but good things about these clutches. Did you look into the os giken str series at all?

How far off the floor does this clutch catch?

Is it immediate and complete right off the floor?

The reason I ask is because I have a JWT and I listened to people tell me that it catches right off the floor, and it does not!--it BEGINS to catch right off the floor but it is not fully engaged until stock height.

I am looking for something that catches completely, very low to the floor.

Also, where are you guys ordering these from?

^^There's no official U.S. distributor yet (maybe Bulletproof Automotive), so other than having a 3rd party purchase the part for you in Japan and sending it to you, these parts aren't the easiest to come by. Contact Bulletproof.

there is no way for you to engage first gear without reving up first. There is just simply not that much torque to grip completely in the first gear without reving up. I found that Ive gotten used to doing that, so first gear shudder is minimal. Sometimes when I dont get it right, it still jerks like crazy.

lol and the engagement point is so high that sometimes you rev it too high. I mastered the nismo in 5 mins but this clutch is seriously a race clutch.

of course you can adjust the engagement point but the manual says specifically that there must be 10mm of freeplay and to get that 10mm of freeplay the engagement points' gotta be all the way up.

Just dont rev up till you are bout the end of the clutch. 10mm is only 1cm that's less than half an inch. I cant wait till I go to the track and see how it affects my time.
