just asking for some info, what do you think the best battery is? optima yellow, red, interstate, etc? also if i chose optima how do you have to mount it?

no idea, but i mounted a yellowtop into my old bmw 2002 (made in 1971) and its been solid ever since.

In my experience, you can't go wrong w/ the optima. The red top is for general use. The yellow top is a deep cycle battery for larger power needs, like an aftermarket audio system or accessories.

Not sure if anyone else had this problem but I couldnt get the yellow top to fit in the original area intended so I just put a Red Top in there.. anyone squeeze the yellow top in?

Yeah I have the yellow top battery, Its soo amazing I couldn't be more happy
