alternator?

what are the specs of the G's stock alternator?

According to cars.com we have a 110 amp alternator. At 12 volts thats 1320 watts.

Speaking of which, is there an aftermarket Higher Amp alternator? For all those with multi amps, did you upgrade your alternator?

man that alternator sucks. ok, well yes there is an aftermarket alternator i am gonna buy from www.hoalternators.com. its the denso, see attachment for specs.

how much horsepower are we talking about losing, anything noticeable?

Well, that's all great, but will it fit our cars? What is the cons for putting that in our cars (if it fits)?

With the way the alternator actually sits on the bottom of our motor it will be hard to fit anything bigger then stock in there, without major work.

Thats why you send them out and have the internals done over

P/G use to overhaul them..not sure about now?

Oh, so you would just send out a stock alt and have it reworked? Sounds like a good idea. Wonder who would do it now?
