with a solid tune you should be fine. make sure you change out your spark plugs too. my friend and i wanted to do this a while ago but what scared us the most wasn't the strain on the engine... it was that bottle of nitrous right behind our bodies.

its not bad as long as you use it under correct conditions...i.e. WOT, proper gear, etc.

50 shot won't make the difference you are going to feel. there's too many extra items to add to make the kit worth while. ie bottle warmer, pressure regulator, gauge...

Dont Put It On, You Will Blow The Motor Eventually, And Ruin Your Warranty.

50 shot is garbage especially if its wet....I say go with at least 75-100 shot. Our motors can handle it. I do not recommend a tune if that's the only mod ur doing simply because u won't be on the nitrous the whole time, and ur car will run like shyt.

Set up ur nitrous so u have an arm switch, then when its arms it kicks in when ur full throttle only. Bottle heater is a must, u don't need a bottle opener, but its recommended so u don't d it urself, uneless u wanna feel like paul walker.....

If u are going nitrous, then intake headers and exhaust is a must. Our stock injectors are fine, I'd get ur ecu reflashed as well. Hope this helps.

Do it and post vids!!

This article convinced me. this is my next "big" mod. im not going FI for at least 2 years, so this is a good hold-me-over till then. like you said, i dont plan on using it all the time, but it'd be fun to have when you want it. i know a lot of people say that you dont need to tune for it, and theyre right.. BUT why not tune it at the same time. youve got nothing to loose, except for another thousand bucks! hell.. ive read of Utecs pulling 17 hp out of a stock motor. that may be BS, but who knows. either way, youll benefit from it.
