I drive my G on the weekend.. Is that bad?

I only take my G out on the weekends through the week I drive an old beater. Some people have told me that is bad for the car just to sit,, What do you think?
Others say who cares if it gets miles on it that is why you bought it..

If it's sitting for the week I think you'll be fine.

I think they're talking if the car sits for months at a time, then you can run into problems. If that is the case, start it up, let it run for a while and you'll be good.

Your doing the right thing man... I quit driving my G on work commute, not due to miles but the debris and crap that constantly damage the car little by little, especially in bad weather... I've had the front cap painted twice and clear bra changed 3 times... Things have flown and chipped the windshield (no I don't follow close at all), things have flown and got into the Brembos and scratched both them and the rims...

I just bought a 2007 Frontier to do this commute and will park the G all week... I will take it to the body shop soon for a few things fixed, painted etc. and overall refreshing I usually do every couple of years on a car. The G will only be used when the weather is good and I want to just have fun driving it. No more beating it up everyday.

Your car will be fine. No issues for it being a weekend car as a matter of fact I'm sure you're enjoying it more.

i mean i guess its alright if you keep it in the garage......my g is now a daily driver and my m6 is the weekend car...

but i understand what you mean..i just dont see the g as luxurious enough to be just a weekend car (dont get me wrong its very luxurious and i love my g)

i'm the oppisite, i drive it to work every day and afraid to drive it around in the weekends (wierd)...maybe it's because it's safe at work and safe in my garage in the weekends ....if i could, i probably wont drive it at all

I try to drive my G as much as possible..reason why I bought it..also the reason why I bought snow shoes for her but I still find myself driving my other beater car.

Also great for when I have meetings. 3/4 people no prob

I try to drive my silverado to work when I can but it is so hard to walk by my g in the garage and get into a truck. The g is sooo much fun to drive. It also seems everytime I'm not in my car some ricer pulles up next to me at a light, drives me nucking futs. Man do I love blowing the doors off those sticker covered, weed wacker exhaust having turds.

BadBoy, hows the power in the Grand Prix compared to the G? I always wondered what the GTP's were capable of?
