Alignment of H-Techs w/ Cut Spring Mount

FYI. For anyone looking to get H-Techs and cutting the spring mounts 1/2 inch. A SPC camber kit was necessary. I also have 15mm spacers all around.

I attached my alignment specs and some pictures (sorry, it was getting dark).

Question...........

If you wanted your car lower than .50 why not buy the S-Techs rather
than the H-Techs? That way you wouldn't have to cut the spring mounts.

too lazy to look them up and i can't think of them off the top of my head, but my guess would be the spring rates.

Talking

Your right.

ANY ONE THINKING OF GETTING H-TECHS B/C THEY DON’T WANT TO GET A CAMBER KIT.

After install, you will not be able to get your mind off that rear gap. You will tell your friends that you like the muscle car look. But you are just lying to your self. You will obsess over that gap.

The next time you are in Home Depot you will find your self buying a c-clamp and hacksaw (just because you may need to cut and clamp some as of yet unknown object).

You will then jack up your car “just to take a look” at the spring mount. When you wake up the next morning you will realize that you now have to spend $500 bucks for a camber kit and an alignment.

The ride is amazing. I was a little concerned when I learned that the rear spring were significantly softer than the stockers. But the softer rears seem to mate perfectly with my Stillen sways.

Before the H-Techs my G was a little twitchy (I guess I should say “loose” considering what day it is). A little too much throttle out of a corner would have me reasserting my faith in God. The softer springs took away just enough rear grip to make for a confidence inspiring ride.

Oh yeah, sorry about those pictures. I tried to compress them and everything got jagged.
