So Cali Dealorship Recommendation

Re: So Cali Dealorship Recommendation
I got mine at Glendale, it's ok over there, but they refused to budge on MSRP.
Mission Viejo got me to drive from UCLA to MV during rush hour traffic only to tell me that the car I wanted was already sold. So thumbs down from me for MV. Ridiculous.
Torrance Infiniti was a madhouse when I went, it was so hard to find parking, and then someone blocked my car in. They tried to sell chrome rims with every single freakin G35C.

Re: So Cali Dealorship Recommendation
Well, in Sept, I could not get a penny of my coupe wherever I looked. I found the coupe I wanted at Montclair, but called back too late, so it was sold. For 2 days I was totally bummed out at the aspect of waiting 2 months to get the same config. The 3rd day I got desperate and searched AND called all the local dealers for my vehicle with exact config. Found one at Miller Infiniti, and the lead sales person, Vadim, held me the car for TWO days until I could drive 60 miles to pick it up. I didn't even have to make a down payment to hold it. Miller is awesome. If you are Asian, Montclair is pretty awesome too.

Re: So Cali Dealorship Recommendation
Here's the full story:
Go to infiniti.com, build and locate my vehicle-- they have one at Tustin Infiniti. I head over, but the car I wanted was sold the night before. I take a test drive and put the deposit down on one that is coming in in a week and a half.
The car arrives, I show up. It has no sunroof! I had even made sure to ask whether or not there would be one. They said there would.
They twist me a little into moving my deposit onto another G, coming in soon.
I got tired of it and did another car search. Found it in Costa Mesa. I drove down around closing, they said they could have a similar car (diff interior, that's okay, + aero package) the next day. Offered at the MSRP without aero off the bat. So that was $550 off already. Haggled on the monthlies some more (my credit isn't so great), and was about to leave when they lowered another $245. So I took it and got my deposit back from Tustin.
Felt really bad about telling the rep at Tustin though, he made an honest mistake. But hey, if I am offered a deal, as a consumer, I have to take it.
Love the G. must buy zaino.

Re: So Cali Dealorship Recommendation
Regarding getting a deal on the G Coupe in So Cal when ordering:
You could try the "Why should I order through you when dealer x is close to my house?".
But the poster who said to go for throw in options is correct. That is your best chance. I know that Thousand Oaks throws in free oil changes and I believe that Miller may too. I have heard of others getting free spoiler or tint.
