In my opinion it's more important than high hp, eliminating HP loss through transmission means real hp gain, and can be seen on a dyno (like that of the lighter flywheel) People spend thousands on heavy wheels and body kit, this is one thing that lightens the car weight and improves drive-ability, far cheaper than a BBK that doesn't make you any faster if not slower due to heavier unsprung weight. So yes it's worth it.

If our driveshaft is that diameter than yes, the maximum practical would be reduced slightly, so 60-65 sounds probable. 68" is the general industry standard now for maximum practical length. At that close to tolerance, I could see why they'd go two piece. I'm also curious if a CF one piece would work, if they make it, I'd hope its tested well lol.

Tomorrow im taking it to a buddy of mine's shop. He said he'll take a look at it and determine where and what the problem is. We'll have someone drive it again while up on the lift...and see where its at. Im really hoping its the center carrier bearing, cuz id rather replace that than the full driveshaft.
