I just had my car dynoed for a baseline today. Was wondering how it compares to others on the board. Am I high, low, even, etc.

Max RWHP = 231.0
Max RWTQ = 229.4

It was probably about 64 degrees outside. I think this is about right where I expected it to be.

 

Auto or manual? How many miles on the car? Those are good numbers.

 

Oops sorry. Forgot that info. It's a 6 speed with 5700 miles.

 

There have been previous posts of dyno's. That's about right. I think the 2 other ones I saw were 229 and 230. So, you're right on track!

i got 226 but filter was dirty and no fan blowing into my intake.. so i don tkno .. but my torque was the same as urs

What gear were you in and what was the max RPM they brought it to?

As for me, I scored 246.3 RWHP on 4th gear. I posted my data sheets somewhere on this forum awhile back ago.

One thing we noticed that was weird was that the numbers kept getting better with each pass. We did 4 runs and the numbers climbed a little each time. Which is opposite of what they should be doing without a cool down in between. I was happy with the numbers although they are a far cry from what my Supra laid down =( *sniff* Man I still miss that car.

I get my Borla Exhaust installed next week so I'm going to do another dyno run to see how much of a gain I pick up. I will post that as well.

 

DAMN 243 rwhp bone stock? That's really good. That's like only a 12.5% loss. What octane are you running? I have California **** water 91 octane in my car. We ran it in 4th to redline each pull.

My numbers equate to about 18% loss in hp and 15% in torque.

 

Forgot to mention on a sidenote Paul Walker (Fast & Furious star) had his Skyline GT-R there. That thing is beyond sick. White R-34 all tricked out. It had a bad a$$ Nismo muffler on it I've never seen before. If it's there when I go back I'm gonna try and sneak some pics. MAN why couldn't they bring that car over here.

 

My baseline was 229 hp and 227 ft lbs

The dyno was done in 5th gear on a Dynapak Dyno (I think)

G35C Blk, 6MT, Lthr, Aero, Prem

 

Not bad.....I dynoed (mustang dyno) @ 263 with an automatic and 19" wheels. The only mods to the powertrain was an Injen CAI and Borlas...
