German Shepherd in the G....

ok lets see....i have a fill grown german shepherd, and no one in the house takes it to the dog park, including me. But i have a reason....leather interior....I tried getting those seat covers but they dont fit on my back seats are different then other cars so it wont fit. I want to put my dog in the back somehow, and at the same time i dont want any scratches on my leather....anyone have any ideas?

Fold the backseat down, put down a heavy blanket for the edges and a bib on him so you don't get drool everywhere.

Problem solved please send a check/paypal for $10.

I took a big thick moving blanket and did some custom work to it. HaHa I just tucked it into the seat corners and called it a day. So Major (my boxer) can ride in the G with me....

I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback...about the same size as a German Shepherd and I take her all over. I lay the back seat down and put a big pillow in the back and she just lays there.

I also lowered the rear seat, put down a blanket and tada. It's easy to clean by simply cleaning the blanket. The hardest part is for my dog to actually get in the car. I sometimes pick him up and just put him in the back instead of making him jump in.

I've got a pitbull and I take him to the park, to the vet and wherever else he needs to go when needed. He's pretty good in the car. Doesn't move around to much either. Try getting a large comforter thats well padded and just tuck it in under the seats and you should be fine.
