"...V-8?"
Re: "...V-8?"
The G35C, 350Z and FX35 share the same exhaust sound. It is a very unique sound that is easily identified on the street. When there is one driving within a block of me, I usually snap my head in its direction. I don't know what the heck Nissan did with the exhaust, but it sure sounds great.
Re: "...V-8?"
the auto sounds different then the 6mt and the 350z has a slight different pitch from the G35coupe.
even a 3 year old can tell what car it is by sound. Not lying, I was sitting in the garage with my son and you can hear a car roll by and he said "anota G". I opened the garage and he was right, it was another 6mt parked down the street. He also knows a gixxer and ducati by sound. I guess playing symphony and classical music to put him to sleep really works. They say children that listen to instrumental music can identify tones well.

Re: "...V-8?"
I would have to agree, being from south florida and huge Ferrari F1 fan, i have had the pleasure of listening to quite bit of Ferraris around town. I dont think it sounds like a big american V8 at all. But i do agree it has a 360Modena tone to it.
Re: "...V-8?"
my favorite thing I ever heard about my car:
the first time I brought the car home from the dealership, my next-door neighbor said when he heard the sound, he thought it was a bike.
